We’re a specialist consulting and marketing agency built exclusively for Indonesia’s liveaboard industry. With a hands-on team with expertise across operations, shipyards, HR, sales, branding, digital marketing, and guest experience, our mission is simple: to help owners, managers, investors, and in-house teams succeed with confidence while staying fully in control.
Our Story
We’ve spent years working on and around liveaboards in Indonesia, and over time we started to notice the same challenge everywhere: owners and managers were expected to wear every hat. Operations, sales, marketing, HR, compliance, renovations, guest experience…all on one person’s shoulders. Some hired one or two senior staff, others handed their vessel to a management company and with that gave up all control and a chunk of revenue.
Meanwhile, the industry evolved. Guest expectations increased, competition grew, and marketing trends began shifting faster than most teams could follow. Running a successful liveaboard today doesn’t require one skill – it requires dozens. And hiring a full-time specialist for each one simply isn’t realistic.
We started The Liveaboard Consultants to fill the gap between “do it all yourself” and “hand everything to a management company.”
